Westworld isn't your typical amusement park. Intended for rich vacationers, the futuristic park -- which is looked after by robotic "hosts" -- allows its visitors to live out their fantasies through artificial consciousness. No matter how illicit the fantasy may be, there are no consequences for the park's guests, allowing for any wish to be indulged. "Westworld" -- which is based on the 1973 Michael Crichton movie of the same name -- features an all-star cast that includes Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins and Golden Globe winner Ed Harris.

John Oliver is an Emmy-winning writer on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart," but it wasn't until he guest-hosted that show in the summer of 2013 that HBO took notice of his "singular perspective and distinct voice." Thanks to that memorable gig, Oliver gets to show off his talent in front of HBO's camera on "Last Week Tonight." The late-night series sees the British comic review what happened the past seven days in news, politics and current events, all with a heavy dose of satire, of course. Since 2010, Oliver has been a fixture on Comedy Central hosting a stand-up show in New York, and he also co-writes and co-presents the popular weekly satirical podcast "The Bugle."

HBO's decidedly adult animated comedy series ventures into the nether regions of Earth's least inhabitable environment, New York City, which is home to a motley crew of downtrodden creatures. Whether it's lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove remarkably similar to those of humans. Created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano -- who voice many of the characters -- and produced by Jay and Mark Duplass ("Togetherness"), the series features such guest voiceover artists as Eric Andre, Jessica Chastain, Rob Corddry, Horatio Sanz, Molly Shannon, Ellie Kemper, Marc Maron, Wanda Sykes, Cobie Smulders and Jon Lovitz.

Created by Danny McBride and Jody Hill (co-creators of HBO’s Eastbound & Down), this dark comedy series tells the story of a southern suburban high school and the two people who almost run it, the vice principals. McBride and Walton Goggins star as Neal Gamby and Lee Russell, a pair of ambitious administrators waged in an epic power struggle to ascend to the top spot after the long-time principal (Bill Murray) steps down to tend to his ailing wife. When Dr. Belinda Brown (Kimberly Hebert Gregory) swoops in to claim the job, Gamby and Russell put their mutual disdain aside and, operating by the adage that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend,” team up for an all-out, take-no- prisoners effort to bring down Dr. Brown, the only person who may in fact have the school’s best interests at heart.
